This project was a collaboration between The Humane Society of the United States, FEMA and the St Bernard Parish to build a new Humane Shelter after Hurricane Katrina.

Once the permit to construct was issued to the General Contractor, Braithwaite Construction and Houndquarters, Inc. agreed to a 120-day design, fabrication, delivery and installation contract.

The project was sucessfully completed on time.
